Join RISE Drug Free MKE as we come together for International Overdose Awareness Day, a heartfelt gathering aimed at showing love, support, and healing for those affected by the devastating loss of loved ones due to substance use; as well as the survivors of overdose. This event is a space for community solidarity remembrance, and hope.

Throughout the event, we will feature inspiring speakers who have bravely navigated their own recovery journeys and those dealing with the loss of loved ones due to substance use. Their stories provide insight and encouragement, highlighting the power of resilience and the importance of support in overcoming adversity.

A special Dedication Station will be available, allowing attendees to honor and remember those who have been lost to overdose. Participants can create a symbol of love and remembrance, creating a powerful visual tribute in our community.

As we conclude the event, we will hold a Candle Memorial Vigil, providing a serene atmosphere for reflection and commemoration. This moment will allow us to gather in unity, lighting candles in honor of those we've lost, fostering a sense of hope and healing as we stand together.

We invite everyone to join us in this important event to raise awareness, share stories, and support each other in our collective journey toward healing. Together, we can create a compassionate environment that honors the lives of those lost and promotes a future filled with hope.

Please mark your calendars, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions regarding these events. Your input is invaluable, and we look forward to collaborating closely with all of you.
