 eighbors\, health and human services workers\, and other caring citizens h
 ow to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health o
 r addictions challenge or is in crisis.\n\nThe course introduces common me
 ntal health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\
 , and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both cr
 isis and non-crisis situations.\n\nTopics covered include:\n\nAnxiety\nDep
 ression\nSubstance use\nDisorders in which psychosis may occur\nDisruptive
  behavior disorders (including AD/HD)\nEating disorders\n\n<b>The training
  will be held virtually\, with instructor Gloria Marfo. It's open to Milwa
 ukee County residents and those who work with them. It's offered at no cos
 t to participants.</b>
