ntal health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.\n\nThe course introdu
ces common mental health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent
development\, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young peop
le in both crisis and non-crisis situations.\n\nTopics covered include:\n
\nAnxiety\nDepression\nSubstance use\nDisorders in which psychosis may occ
ur\nDisruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD)\nEating disorders\n\n<
b>The training will be held virtually\, with instructor Gloria Marfo. It's
open to Milwaukee County residents and those who work with them. It's off
ered at no cost to participants.
