Utility Services

Community Advocates’ Utility Department is committed to providing comprehensive advocacy and referral services for low income energy consumers located in Milwaukee County including:

  • Energy Advocacy (bill payment plans, self advocacy, your rights and responsibilities)
  • Case Management (budgeting, understanding your bill, resource referrals)
  • Energy Education/Conservation (workshops)
  • Telecommunication (lifeline/link up, who qualifies, benefits)
  • The Milwaukee Energy Network (problem solving, energy highlights and updates)

The Utility Department accepts referrals from local and state agencies and walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis at 4906 W. Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53216. Walk-in hours of operation are Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
