Please consider supporting our clients by donating the following new items:
- Tooth Brushes
- Household Cleaning Supplies
- Socks (Adult Women/Men)
- Underwear (Women’s Sizes M, L and XL; Men’s Sizes 36, 38, 40)
- Bath Towels
- Pampering Items (Perfume, Lotions, Makeup, etc.)
- Gift certificates to Wal-Mart, Target, or Pick ‘n Save

If you prefer to make a monetary donation rather than donating the items themselves, Community Advocates can purchase new items in bulk, allowing your contribution to have an even greater impact.

What can your donations accomplish?
$50 will purchase 10 training manuals for low-income clients learning how to budget.
$75 provides a safe environment, food, and other necessities for a woman or child for one day at the emergency shelter.
$100 will help purchase sheets and blankets for a family leaving emergency shelter for stable housing.
$120 provides groceries for one week for a low-income family of three. More than 85% of our consumers live near or below the Federal Poverty level.
$250 will provide 5 hours of certified legal advocacy for Social Security Disabilities appeals.
$300 provides an outing for 20 women and children staying in our Milwaukee Women's Center shelter. These outings are not only fun, but they give women and children an opportunity to bond, rebuild their relationships, and enjoy a positive experience together.
$500 will provide transportation to medical appointments and counseling sessions for 5 mentally ill clients for a full year.
$650 provides one month’s rent for a family transitioning from emergency shelter to safe and stable housing away from their abuser. 75% of the Milwaukee Women's Center's shelter clients request housing assistance each year.
$1,000 will help purchase cleaning supplies (prohibited FoodShare items) for 12 families entering permanent housing.
$2,500 will provide 3 meals a day for a full week, for 30 residents with mental illness living at our Autumn West supportive housing facility.
$5,000 will help staff the MedLine healthcare emergency information line for one month.
