Project Homeless Connect photo gallery fundraiser

Join us for the 3rd Annual Project Homeless Connect photo gallery event fundraiser -- Friday Sept. 21st and Saturday Sept. 22nd

Join us for a unique gallery event showcasing portraits of past Project Homeless Connect event guests.  Dialing a number next to many portraits allows viewers to listen to audio of guests describing how they became homeless.  View the guest portraits, listen to the stories, enjoy refreshments, and bid on items from local artists in our art auction.  This event offers a unique window into the homeless experience and an opportunity to make a difference.

There is no entry fee but donations are encouraged.  Free parking is available in the Community Advocates lot on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and James Lovell Street.  This event is offered both Friday and Saturday.

This Third Annual Project Homeless Connect Fundraiser helps to make Project Homeless Connect possible.  Project Homeless Connect is an annual event occurring Thursday, October 18th at the Marquette University campus.  This one-day, one-stop event allows homeless people to access multiple services and resources under one roof.  From providing dental screening exams to clean socks and connections to counseling and housing, Project Homeless Connect is a vital tool in Milwaukee’s fight to end homelessness.  Community Advocates leads planning for the Milwaukee County day of this national model.
