Matthew Desmond will read from his book about evictions in Milwaukee at Boswell Book Company on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 7:00pm. Five years ago, Desmond came to Milwaukee to learn about housing evictions in our city. Two Energy Assistance Kick-Off events are being held on Saturday, September 26th:
• From 10am to noon, join the UMOS event in West Allis at 6767 W. Greenfield Ave.
• From noon until 2pm, join the Community Advocates event in Milwaukee at 4906 W. Fond du Lac Ave.

Join us for a unique gallery event showcasing portraits of past Project Homeless Connect event guests. Dialing a number next to many portraits allows viewers to listen to audio of guests describing how they became homeless.
